Herbs for Intuition: Creating a Magickal Connection with Kris Gurky
Learn how to identify herbs growing all around us to strengthen intuition, promote self-awareness, and connect to them beyond a medicinal practice. We will discuss how herbs have been used for centuries to increase intuitive awareness and the various herbal preparations to apply them; such as entheogenic use in ritual, tinctures, flower essences, tisanes, salves, oils, and smoke bundles. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of the intuitive herbal preparations and participate in a guided plant spirit meditation to open intuitive centers.
Plant Allies for Resilience with Irischa Valentin
In this co-created space, we remember our plant kin as allies for troubling times. We will learn about specific green medicines for supporting our response to stress, inviting grounded energies, and soothing our tender hearts. We also call in practices for tethering our collective bodies to Earth and towards each other. This offering hopes to uplift our resilience as a tool and strategy for liberation.
Cannabis as Medicine with Julie Hundley
My class is intended to teach participants the basics of how to select appropriate cultivars of cannabis, to grow and harvest their own, to make medicine including tincture, oil/butter, flower essence, salves and edibles. I emphasize the importance of testing your products and how to dose each in the most effective manner. Come and learn from my successes and failures with this powerful and important ally so that you can add it to your medicinal toolbox!
LunarSolar Yoga Practice with Carla Pantuosco
Learn how to incorporate the current sun and moon signs into your asana practice. We will first hold a short discussion regarding the benefits in acknowledging the solar and lunar astrological cycles as a pathway to resetting, grounding, and honoring our bodies according to the present astrology. The bulk of our time together will be spent in an active yoga flow that dials into the current sky (in this case Sun in Gemini, Moon in Aires). We will end our session with a short meditation that also compliments the values, commitments, and reminders that our current astrology is emphasizing. Towards the end of our session expect an abbreviated meditation, a communal checkin as to how we’re all feeling post-flow, and time for questions. The intention for all who attend this session is to depart with further knowledge on how to start simply incorporating astrology into their everyday yoga practice. Please bring a mat!

Reweaving Cultural Herbalisms with Rowan Walker
Colonization, empire and white supremacy has severed many peoples from their healing traditions. This has contributed to the disruption of ancestral lineages, both from the lands settler peoples originated from, as well as from here on Turtle Island/N America through the present day. We see these dynamics play out in all things, including ‘traditional Western herbalism’ as it is currently practiced. This space is for visioning what another way forward might look like. Together we will process the impacts of being disconnected from ancestral lineages of healing. We will look at the severance and rupture in our own lineages, as well as the ways we contributed personally and collectively to rupture for peoples of the global majority (Black, Brown and Indigenous people of color). We will explore practices of reweaving cultural herbalisms in theory and in practice, searching within our lineages (and our bodies) for ancestral wisdom. There will be many questions without easy answers. There will be frank conversation about how to take up our responsibility as white practitioners to support practitioners of the global majority in unpicking the threads of TWH; as well as our responsibility to reweave culturally connected herbalisms. Please come if you are ready to be honest with yourself and others, and converse with compassion & thoughtfulness, grounded firmly in your integrity. Note: The conversation in this space will be specifically geared towards white practitioners, although all are welcome.

We'll cover the ethical wildcrafting of herbs for use in spiritual practices, and at the end of the walk, we will sit in circle to connect with the herbs on a deeper level and answer questions.
